UK delivery

Mainland UK Delivery is included in the price- there are no additional charges except for large items over 2kg going to one of the restricted postcodes listed below  which may incur a surcharge.

Small items up to 2kg are sent Royal Mail 1st class, though orders over 1.5kg and over may, at our discretion,  be sent via courier or via recorded delivery. 

Deliveries are usually dispatched within 24 hours of order.     We always endevour for your orders to arrive as soon as possible, but please note that delivery times are not guaranteed.   If you have special delivery requirements such as delivery on a specific day or an urgent delivery, please contact us first - we will do our utmost to help - often at no additional charge (depending on service required).

We may split your order into multiple parcels and ship separately.

We only post goods to your credit card billing address. 

Please note that it will be necessary for someone to sign for delivery on courier delivered orders.  


Restricted postcodes for Courier deliveries

The following post codes for the Highlands of Scotland and Offshore islands are restricted and will incur an extra £10 shipping charge - depending on the location, delivery may take an extra day or two.   Note this only applies to orders greater than 2kg in weight.  Note this is not a complete list and it may vary.   If you have any questions, or think there may be a better way of shipping to you, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We do our best to ensure our shipping costs reflect the actual cost of shipping to you.

International Delivery

Delivery charges outside the UK but within the European Union will be calculated by weight at checkout time.   Note that if your country is not listed when you register, then we cannot automatically calculate delivery charges to your country.  Please e-mail us, we can give you a quotation for shipping to your country - please contact sales@biltongbox.com.  We are very flexible and will make every effort to ship using the best/cheapest method for you.


International postal charges are based on weight.

European Union

Spice Packs (450g) - £1.75 (Standard Airmail)
Wooden Biltong Cutters (1.7kg) £3.75 (Standard Airmail)
Biltong Makers or spice bulk packs up to  15kg - typically £10.00 (Western Europe Courier Rate - prices vary by country)

Orders over 2kg will automatically go at the courier rate.  We would be happy to split larger orders with a total weight of over 2kg into separate parcels to bring the shipping cost down - but our shopping cart cannot do this automatically so please speak to us first or make separate orders online.  Note that this cannot be done for Biltong Makers or bulk Packs.

For orders larger than 2kg, we may split the order into multiple parcels, or if this is not possible, we send via courier such as DHL.

Costs vary by country, but typically a biltong maker costs an additional 10 to 15 pounds to ship to the Western Europe.  Heavier items such as a sausage stuffer may cost slightly more.  An exact cost is given at checkout or feel free to e-mail us for a quotation.

For international orders, EU delivery typically takes 2-5 days, but please wait up to 14 days for delivery before inquiring.

For orders outside of the countries we list - please contact us for a quote - we always endevour to keep postage costs to a minimum.


Warranty, Refunds, and Returns

Your satisfaction is our priority.  If you in any way unhappy with your purchase, please contact us so we can rectify for you.

All non-food products are warrantied for 1 year from date of invoice.  If a fault develops, please contact us right away with a description of the problem and if you can, please send photos too.  We will either repair or replace the faulty items at our discretion.

Non-faulty returns - including items returned by Royal Mail or our Couriers as undelivered - will incur a restocking fee equal to our costs to deliver the item to you.  Returns must be delivered to us at your expense and risk - please use a recorded delivery method.  We are not responsible for any returned items which we do not receive.   Before returning any items, please e-mail us first.
