5KG Turbo Home Biltong Maker Hobby Kit.

Make your own biltong in 3-5 days with our latest fan assisted model.

Takes approximately 5kg of raw meat to be made into biltong(*)
Made of a rigid PST Food processing approved plastic/perspex which makes the machine very easy to keep clean and long lasting.
Measures 290 (L) x 295 (W) x 490 (H) mm and weighs around 4 kilograms.
5kg unit is ideally suited to a garage, or the larger kitchen.
The machine makes use of a 40 watt lightbulb to supply the right temperature and convection air circulation to dry the meat.
Fan independently controlled via switch.
The globe gives a constant heat, just enough to simulate the natural drying conditions that you would find in the Southern African countries.
If you follow our instructions, using our biltong spice, your biltong will be ready in 3-5 days

The 5kg kit is sent flat packed, and requires assembly with a screwdriver.

(*) 5kg is the nominal amount of raw meat this unit will dry at once. The actual amount depends on many factors including how the meat is cut including the thickness of the meat, the length of the pieces, and the quality and moisture content of the meat.
