Yes you can!

Pre-cut your meat into the pieces you want to hang, and pre-spice the meat using your Biltongbox.com Spices. Place the meat in a freezer bag and freeze as flat as possible. Try not to freeze the meat in a ball - freezing flat will allow the meat to defrost more evenly and will also keep its shape better when defrosted. If possible, vacuum pack the meat before freezing.

When you want to use the meat, defrost naturally (do not use microwave) - preferably for several days in the fridge, otherwise in a cool environment. Once the meat is defrosted, allow to marinade as normal in the fridge, then hang.
